Happy Earth Day Week!
I'm very excited to announce that coming soon I'll have a conversation with retiring park naturalist Mary Blackburn of the "El Dorado Nature Center" but in the meantime if you haven't already got plans to celebrate our beautiful planet this week may I suggest a few of the following ideas? Meet us at Morry's for Green Drinks!
This Thursday April 24th at 7:00 pm the social gathering "Green Drinks" meets for the second time at Morry's of Naples. We'll have beer tasting ($15.00 for six micro brews), and happy hour food prices all night long, and a good time meeting with others interested in active green thinking for Long Beach. Celebrate with the Fallopian Artopians!
This Friday April 25th at 7:00 pm the dynamic female painting troupe "The Fallopian Artopians" will perform their painting magic to tunes spun by DJ 1Eyejack at the wonderful Viento y Agua Coffeehouse. The artwork will be raffled to raise funds and awareness for Catch-22 Fisheries a local 502(c)(3). For more information please go to www.FallopianArtopians.com.
